Does offsetting drive climate-damaging behavior?

Actually, the opposite is true. Studies show that people who offset their carbon emissions act not less but more climate-friendly in other parts of their lives, too. That makes sense: When you’re personally invested in a cause, you want it to succeed.

Surveys show that most people are worried about the climate, but aren’t sure how to help. There’s a massive gap between willingness to act, and avenues of action.

That's also why much of Klima is dedicated to sharing strategies, support, and information on lowering your climate footprint overall. The most effective way to take individual climate action is to offset your footprint, and then work on sustainable solutions to shrink your total emissions in the long-term. We're here to help on both fronts.
